Screen Cleaning

Screens taken off the window and washed on a stand, not wiped in place.

From $5 per screen

Shine & Bright technician washing a window screen on a screen-washing stand in a driveway

Clean glass still looks hazy behind a screen loaded with pollen, construction dust, and cottonwood fluff. I take every screen off the house and wash it on a screen stand, scrubbing both sides of the mesh with soft brushes and a gentle soap, then rinse it, dry it, and set it back in the opening it came out of. That's the only way to get the mesh itself clean.

Benefits

Genuinely Clearer Glass

Even freshly cleaned windows look dull behind a dirty screen. Washing the mesh is what makes the whole window read as clean.

Better Airflow

Clogged mesh chokes the breeze. Clean screens let air move freely through open windows again.

Fewer Allergens Indoors

Screens trap pollen, dust, and cottonwood seed all season. Rinsing them out means less of it blowing into your home.

Washed Off the Window

Our screen-washing stand lets us scrub both sides of the mesh and the frame — impossible to do properly while it's hanging in the window.

Longer Screen Life

Grit ground into mesh and frame corners accelerates fraying and corrosion. Regular washing keeps screens usable for years longer.

Labeled & Reinstalled Correctly

Every screen is tracked to its opening and reinstalled snug — no rattling, no mismatched frames, no leftovers.

Our Screen Cleaning Process

Experience the Shine & Bright Difference at Every Step

  1. Removal & Labeling

Each screen is carefully lifted out and labeled so it returns to the exact window it came from.

  2. Dry Brush-Down

Loose dust, pollen, spider webs, and seed fluff are brushed off dry before any water touches the mesh.

    2
  3. Screen-Washer Scrub

Screens go onto our screen-washing stand where soft brushes and biodegradable soap clean both sides of the mesh and the frame at once.

    3
  4. Rinse & Dry

A full clean-water rinse flushes the soap and loosened grime out of the mesh, then screens are dried so no drips mark your glass.

    4
  5. Frame & Corner Detail

Frame edges, corners, and pull tabs are wiped down, and any bent frames or torn mesh are flagged for you.
